CSS-styling the grid didn’t combine with the pagination, somehow the layout broke after going to next page etc. I also hoped for a bit more flexibility in selecting categories, children, categories to be excluded etc.
Instead of figuring things out further I decided to write it myself, I had too specific wishes, apparently.
But for regular use, out of the box, it does what it promises.
I am using the projects post type in Divi and needed a way to display a filtered list. This plugin was exactly what I needed.

Isn’t that what Divi’s Filterable Portfolio module does?
This plugin is lighter than the divi blog portfolio so it’s better for seo.
It’s a good way to use the wordpress post instead the divi project.
